Welcome to Albanian-Courses.com (the "Website"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our Website and the purchase of online Albanian language lessons (the "Services") provided by us. By booking a lesson or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services Description
We provide online Albanian language instruction through individual and group lessons conducted via Zoom. Our Services include, but are not limited to:
- Individual Courses: Typically structured in sessions, with a recommended pace of 2-3 lessons per week.
- Intensive Courses: 5 lessons per week.
- Group Lessons: For 4 to 6 students.
- Specialized Courses: Including speaking practice, grammar, and courses for adults and children (8 years and above).
All necessary digital learning materials are provided as part of the lesson cost.
3. Booking and Scheduling
Lessons are scheduled by mutual agreement between the student and the teacher via email or our booking platform.
You will receive a Zoom link and any preparatory materials prior to your scheduled lesson time.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
24-Hour Notice Required: You may cancel or reschedule a lesson without penalty by providing at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time.
Late Cancellation/No-Show: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson, or failure to attend a scheduled lesson ("no-show"), will result in the lesson being charged in full. The teacher will wait for 15 minutes before considering the lesson a no-show.
5. Payment Terms
Payment Required in Advance: All lessons and lesson packages must be paid for in full before the lesson occurs.
Payment Methods: Payment is processed securely through our third-party online payment platform.
Invoicing: An invoice will be provided for all payments.
Lesson Packages: Packages (e.g., 15-hour pack) are valid for 4 months from the date of purchase. Any unused lessons after this period will be forfeited.
6. Intellectual Property
All teaching materials, including but not limited to digital copies of textbooks, worksheets, presentations, and video recordings, are the intellectual property of Albanian-Courses.com and our teachers.
Materials are provided for your personal, educational use only. You may not distribute, sell, or share these materials with any third party.
7. Technical Requirements and Student Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection, a working webcam, microphone, and the Zoom application installed for your lessons.
Albanian-Courses.com is not responsible for lessons missed or interrupted due to technical failures on the student's side.
8. Teacher Responsibilities
Our teachers will:
Be punctual and prepared for each lesson.
Provide a professional and supportive learning environment.
Supply all agreed-upon digital materials.
9. Limitation of Liability
Albanian-Courses.com and its teachers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services or your inability to use the Services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Albania.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
